Easter Sunday 4th April - we are closed and will be enjoying our Easter Eggs, hope you enjoy yours!
Friday 2nd, Saturday 3rd & Monday 5th April, Easter Bunny Hunt: 11am - 3pm
Calling all children who like chocolate! There will be a chocolate treat for every child who finds a Grosvenor bunny hiding in the garden centre. For children age 11 and under, one prize per child.
Tuesday 6th & Thursday 8th April, Children’s Plant Workshops: 10.30am – 11.30am
£5.50 per child including juice and cookie (accompanying adult free)
A fun introduction to growing for little green fingers. Children will plant up 2 pots from bedding plants to fruit and vegetables, depending on the season.One of our horticulturalists will give easy to follow instructions on planting and caring for their plants, along with tips on what to do when you get your plants home! Recommended for children age 5 – 10, please note all children must be accompanied by an adult. Spaces are limited so please book to avoid disappointment.
Friday 9th April, Farmers' Market: starts 10am
Visit our popular FARMA accredited Farmers' Market offering delicious produce all grown, reared and picked by the very best producers in Cheshire and North Wales, including cheeses, organic meat, organic eggs and the freshest fruit and vegetables to name but a few! The Farmers' Market is held on the second Friday of every month, January - December.
Saturday 10th & Sunday 11th April, Sow it, Grow it, Eat it: 11am - 3pm
Join us for a weekend of Grow Your Own advice. Whether you are lucky enough to have your own allotment or veg patch or you are gorwing in window boxes and containers, there will be special demonstrations all weekend.
There will also be the chance for younger growers to have a go at potting up their own veggies to take home with them; visit our new and improved Edible Garden for advice on planning, planting and production, and complete our fruit and veg quiz to recieve a free packet of vegetable seeds.
And have you every wondered what you would look like if you were a carrot?! Why not let our cartoonist show you with your own carricature to take home with you?!
Thursday 15th April, How to…Sow it, Grow it, Eat it!: 3.30pm – 6.30pm
£16 including tea/coffee and cake and your own herb pot to take away
Easy salads, including many leaf varieties and herbs as well as quick- maturing veg that can be eaten as baby or gourmet vegetables and stir fried, steamed or used raw in salads. We'll even look at ways to cheat and get ultra quick crops; patio veg in pots and baskets and edible flowers for tasty toppings or colourful garnishes. Make and take away your own herb pot. Plus edible flowers to make any salad look and taste exotic.
Wednesday 21st April, Furniture Preview Evening: 6pm - 9pm
Join us for wine and canapes and take a look at this seasons new range of garden furniture and barbecues. With everything from traditional deck chairs, intimate tea for two sets and ultimate garden dining suites, our expert staff will be on hand to answer any questions and help you find the solution to suit your needs. There will also be live music and a free prize draw.

For tomato lovers everywhere! Demonstrations with simple, easy to follow advice on planting and growing your own tomatoes.
Find out how to grow your own in your allotment, on your patio or even in hanging baskets for delicious salads, soups and chutneys.
Food tastings and recipe cards for you to take home too.
