In our Café we believe in fresh, locally produced, delicious and wholesome food. So, our commitment to our customers is that wherever possible our food comes from local farmers and producers within a 25 mile radius of Chester. This means that it is fresh and seasonal. We only use free range chicken and eggs in our food and do our best to ensure that all the ingredients we use (such as mayonnaise) comply with this. Our food is free of artificial additives, colourings and hydrogenated fats. Our range of teas and coffees include Fair Trade products, mellow flavoured triple certified coffee beans and a distinctive range of loose leaf teas.

We believe that even ‘treats’ should be made from wholesome ingredients and so we offer a range of home baked cakes, flapjacks, brownies and scones made by our team of bakers. Children should eat real food of the same quality as adults and so we offer smaller portions at half price of all our cooked meals. No one wants to eat soggy sandwiches and so we make our baguettes and sandwiches fresh every day and we make all our own fillings, we don’t use ready-made fillings. Our drinks range should reflect the quality of our food so we offer fresh juices and organic, natural chilled drinks and wine.

We are proud to reflect the wealth of fantastic produce in Cheshire and the North West and we source from farmers who care about quality and animal welfare. Our menu includes, on a seasonal basis, free range Cheshire chicken, carefully selected Aberdeen Angus and Hereford beef, Gloucester Old Spot pork hand reared at Churton Heath Farm, Bruera, Chester and lamb reared on the beautiful pastures of North Wales.
