Children Plant & Gardening Workshops 2010
What better way to help children enjoy the great outdoors than to show them just how interesting gardening can be?
Taking place during school holidays, our Children’s Plant Workshops are a great option for entertaining children aged 5 and over. They can get their hands dirty and enjoy a new hobby too!
With this in mind, our Children’s Plant Workshops provide children with hands-on help and information on just how to plant seedlings and care for plants - with an easy to follow care sheet and plenty of hints for growing their plants at home too.
Our horticulturalists will demonstrate each step and offer guidance to everyone - and each child will take home their three plants from the Workshop and receive a packet of free seeds to sow at home. You may even end up with help in the garden too!
Each Children’s Plant Workshop lasts one hour with a break for a drink and a delicious cookie too (after washing mucky hands first!).
So book now for the next Children’s Plant Workshop as spaces are limited and often sell out quickly.
