Established in existing estate buildings in 1974, Grosvenor Garden Centre continues to expand and build an excellent reputation for providing expert gardening advice and quality horticultural and lifestyle products - not to mention an ever expanding Food Department offering everything from everyday store cupboard essentials to luxury items for entertaining in style..
Occupying a 14 acre site on the boundary of the Eaton Estate in picturesque surroundings on the outskirts of Chester, the large complex is home to a monthly FARMA accredited Farmers' Market, and a Café serving excellent local produce with every dish freshly made on the premises each day. All plants sold are similarly grown and sourced from the very best suppliers - as local to the garden centre as possible.
As a member of the Garden Centre Association, the business is the recipient of the Garden Centre of Excellence Award for a record breaking 12th consecutive year - the only garden centre in the UK to do so. This Award was made in recognition of Grosvenor's reputation for providing a rich, rewarding leisure experience as well as for the Centre's achievement of the highest standards in customer service, plant quality, product choice and reliability. Grosvenor has also been chosen as the winner of the Colour your Life Green Community Award for its commitment to encouraging customers and the local community to plant trees, shrubs and plants for maximum benefit and beauty to their outside areas. Grosvenor regularly wins awards for its expertise and customer service, so take a look at our Awards page for details of our latest achievements.
Grosvenor is situated on the edge of Eaton Park within the Eaton Estate, home to the Duke and Duchess of Westminster. Originally the site of Pulford Forestry, the Garden Centre opened its doors in 1974 with a handful of staff and small range of DIY products.
More than 35 years later, it is a completely different story.
Located within 14 acres, and employing more than 100 highly trained members of staff, we now boast extensive ranges for both the garden and the home, not to mention a newly refurbished café specialising in fresh, seasonal and locally sourced ingredients.
Where appropriate, and without sacrificing quality, we will always use ethical and organic sources – the closer to home the better – for our customer products.
And we also pride ourselves on working closely with the local community, schools and charities with regular events taking place throughout the year – To find out What's On please follow the link.
