Grosvenor Garden Centre is delighted to announce the national winner of the Garden Retail Awards’ Employee of the Year category is Louise Gandy, Gift Supervisor at the Chester-based garden centre.
Chosen from entrants from garden centres around the UK, Louise was awarded the category winner due to, amongst other things, her enthusiasm, professionalism and popularity amongst her colleagues.
Highly skilled and a customer favourite, Louise has the ability to motivate her team, whilst at the same time juggling the many aspects of her varied position. With a natural aptitude for liaising with customers, suppliers and staff at all levels, Louise stresses that customer service is her priority and makes sure she has an exceptional knowledge of all products in her area.
“Louise is a popular and highly dependable member of the team, and a deserved winner of the Employee of the Year Award, “commented Iain Wylie, managing director, Grosvenor Garden Centre.
“We are all delighted that she was chosen – especially as the Garden Retail Awards are some of the most prestigious Awards in our industry and Louise was against strong competition from many of her peers,” Iain continued.
Louise was overwhelmed to be chosen as the Employee of the Year, “I love my job – the variety it offers is everything I could wish for and winning the Award is simply the icing on the cake!”
Louise will once again be performing her popular festive demonstrations at Grosvenor Garden Centre’s Open Evening next Wednesday 3rd December between 6pm and 9pm and during Grosvenor’s late nights on Thursdays and Fridays throughout December before Christmas.
